This role involves managing and mentoring a team of sales development representatives to generate and maintain a multi-million dollar sales pipeline, while focusing on developing sales talent and driving outbound and inbound sales strategies within a leading open source software company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of 2-10 SDRs and BDRs to ensure successful sales development activities
Develop and maintain a multi-million dollar sales pipeline through inbound and outbound lead management
Drive team performance using data analysis and continuous improvement strategies
Foster skill development, culture, and high integrity within the sales team
Implement innovative outbound sales approaches to adapt to market changes
Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and enhance team effectiveness
Requirements
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business or STEM
Knowledge and passion for business development, sales and technology
Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, being curious, flexible, and scientific
Creative problem solving and cross team collaboration skills
Leadership experience of one form or another
Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement
