This role involves managing and mentoring a team of sales development representatives to generate and maintain a multi-million dollar sales pipeline, while fostering skill development and a culture of continuous improvement in a remote, innovative open-source technology company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of 2-10 SDRs and BDRs to develop their sales skills and culture.
Maintain a multi-million dollar sales pipeline through inbound and outbound lead management.
Develop and implement outbound sales strategies and approaches to adapt to market changes.
Use data analytics to drive team activities, measure performance, and foster continuous improvement.
Support the professional growth of team members and ensure high-quality representation of the company.
Requirements
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business or STEM
Knowledge and passion for business development, sales and technology
Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, being curious, flexible, and scientific
Creative problem solving and cross team collaboration skills
Leadership experience of one form or another
Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement
Primary responsibility to manage and mentor a successful team of 2-10 SDRs/BDRs
Ability to maintain a multi-million dollar pipeline
Outstanding academic results at school and university
Willingness to learn about new technologies and innovate outbound approaches
Strong interest in developing skills and establishing team culture
Organized, persistent, analytical, hard-working, and high integrity
Ability to develop sales professionals with high empathy and a rigorous work ethic
Experience in managing inbound and outbound sales teams (implied by managing inbound leads and outbound teams)
