Job Description

This role involves managing and mentoring a team of sales development representatives to generate and maintain a multi-million dollar sales pipeline, while fostering skill development and a culture of continuous improvement in a remote, innovative open-source technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of 2-10 SDRs and BDRs to develop their sales skills and culture.
  • Maintain a multi-million dollar sales pipeline through inbound and outbound lead management.
  • Develop and implement outbound sales strategies and approaches to adapt to market changes.
  • Use data analytics to drive team activities, measure performance, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Support the professional growth of team members and ensure high-quality representation of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business or STEM
  • Knowledge and passion for business development, sales and technology
  • Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, being curious, flexible, and scientific
  • Creative problem solving and cross team collaboration skills
  • Leadership experience of one form or another
  • Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement
  • Primary responsibility to manage and mentor a successful team of 2-10 SDRs/BDRs
  • Ability to maintain a multi-million dollar pipeline
  • Outstanding academic results at school and university
  • Willingness to learn about new technologies and innovate outbound approaches
  • Strong interest in developing skills and establishing team culture
  • Organized, persistent, analytical, hard-working, and high integrity
  • Ability to develop sales professionals with high empathy and a rigorous work ethic
  • Experience in managing inbound and outbound sales teams (implied by managing inbound leads and outbound teams)
