A product management role focused on leading the development and strategy of Canonical's cloud native products, including Juju, identity management, and observability, to drive open source software solutions for enterprise and technology markets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the lifecycle management and strategic development of cloud native products such as Juju, identity management, and observability.
Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align on priorities and drive product execution.
Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and ensure product-market fit.
Oversee product development processes in partnership with engineering leads and review priorities and goals.
Develop and mentor teams, establish KPIs, and promote continuous improvement in product delivery.
Contribute to sales success by reviewing customer feedback and participating in customer meetings.
Drive technical vision and innovation in open source software management and cloud native technologies.
Requirements
Seasoned product management experience in technical domains related to the usage and or the management of open source software in the cloud native landscape.
Experience designing or managing software operations for large scale distributed systems.
Good understanding of cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker containers.
Comprehensive knowledge of the common enterprise security and compliance requirements in the area of software operations.
Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive their execution to excellence.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
Excellent communications skills in English, both verbal and written.
Location based remotely in the EMEA region.
