Job Description
A Business Systems Engineer at Canonical is responsible for developing and maintaining business systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce, collaborating with teams to implement processes, ensure system compliance, and improve organizational practices, all within a remote, globally distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
- Collaborate with colleagues on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews
- Learn and understand Canonical business processes
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback based on seniority
- Develop and promote engineering and organizational best practices
Requirements
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems.

- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path.
- Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM ERP systems.
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long.
