Job Description
A senior HR professional responsible for delivering compliant HR operations, partnering with leadership, and driving HR initiatives across the AMER region in a remote, global technology company focused on open source software and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner with high accuracy
- Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to create impactful HR initiatives
- Manage HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, and engagement initiatives
- Partner with managers on performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, rewards, and workforce planning
- Work with HRIS team to develop and refine HR operational processes
- Coach and advise managers on employee relations issues across multiple countries
- Support delivery of training and development programs for employees
- Establish trusted partnerships with regional business leaders
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Design and implement new HR policies and global HR projects
Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- HR experience leading initiatives across regions within a technology business
- Regional HR experience within Latin America, Brazil, and/or Mexico is a plus, with an understanding of local labor laws, competitive awareness, and insights
- Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on involvement in the daily HR routines, balancing leading and executing responsibilities
- Experience mentoring and developing others
- Strong project management skills with the ability to define completion criteria and keep deliverables on track
- Experience working in a remote-first organization
- Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions
- Fluent in business English, both written and spoken
- Self-motivated, organized, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, open-minded, and enthusiastic
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events
