Job Description
A Junior Ads Specialist at Canonical is responsible for supporting and monitoring paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, leveraging automation and analytics to optimize performance and drive lead generation in a remote, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing team in setting up and monitoring paid ad campaigns
- Monitor paid ads performance and budgets
- Develop automation and AI to improve paid ads performance
- Build and develop Canonical's adtech stack to industry standards
Requirements
- Proficiency with all ad platforms including Google, LinkedIn, and Meta.
- Familiarity with campaign tracking and analytics tools.
- Experience driving successful lead generation campaigns.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision making.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and aptitude for forging trusting relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to prioritise and differentiate what matters from the noise, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- A growth mindset - someone who is not afraid to think big and take on risks.
- Engagement with the latest trends in marketing technology.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
- Experience supporting marketing team members with setting up and monitoring paid ads campaigns.
- Experience monitoring paid ads performance and budgets across the marketing team.
- Experience building on automation and AI to improve paid ads performance.
- Experience developing adtech stack to industry leading standards.
- Ability to work remotely in the EMEA region.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, technology marketing, and the use of technology in marketing.
