Job Description
A Sales Development Representative at Canonical is responsible for generating and nurturing sales leads, engaging with prospective customers across various channels, and supporting marketing campaigns to promote Canonical's open-source enterprise solutions, with opportunities for travel and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
- Execute outbound sales marketing campaigns
- Travel to events and conferences to promote products and generate sales opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and senior stakeholders to drive results
- Research prospective customers and market trends
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of potential customer projects
- Identify prospects and new opportunities through account mapping
- Create, update, and nurture leads on global opportunities
- Attend meetings with new and existing customers to identify sales opportunities
