A Graduate HR Generalist role supporting HR functions for the APAC region, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and contributing to global HR projects in a remote, globally distributed company.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR support by answering employee questions and managing requests related to employment, contracts, onboarding, and benefits
Maintain HRIS data accuracy and process employee changes and new hires
Manage global HR projects such as engagement, training, and culture initiatives
Partner with managers and employees to support HR processes and implement people strategies
Process new hires, including onboarding documentation, system setup, and introductory reviews
Support benefits enrollment and payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate data submission
Liaise with payroll to ensure smooth salary payments
Create purchase orders for internal departments
Conduct audits of employment files and systems to ensure compliance and accuracy
Identify and implement process improvements within the HR function
Requirements
Track record of exceptional achievement from high school and graduate studies.
Internship experience working in an HR People team is beneficial, preferably in the Technology industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to prioritize complex workloads, manage time effectively and work well under pressure.
Self-motivated and results-orientated with a clear focus on accuracy.
High level of honesty, integrity, and ability to handle confidential data.
Flexible attitude and easily adaptable to change.
Willing to take the initiative and provide suggestions and ideas to contribute to the success of the role team.
Ambitious to grow your career within HR.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
Ability to provide HR support by answering team members questions and responding to requests regarding their employment and contracts, escalating when necessary.
Ability to maintain our HRIS, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in processing all team member changes and new joiners.
Experience in owning global projects e.g. engagement, training or culture initiatives.
Experience in partnering with managers and employees to support HR processes and drive people strategy.
Experience in processing new hires, including country-specific onboarding documentation, creation of files, systems set-up, and coordination of introductory reviews.
Ability to support employees for the enrollment and processing of benefits and the payroll process, ensuring monthly data is provided on time and is accurate.
Ability to liaise with payroll to guarantee smooth salary payments.
Experience in creating purchase orders for internal departments.
Ability to conduct regular audits of employment files and systems to ensure they are up-to-date, accurate, and GDPR compliant.
Willingness to continually work to improve HR processes and identify areas for improvement.
