Go Golang Software Engineer, Developer Tooling and Containers at Canonical

Design the user experience of new capabilities in the developer tooling
Write high-quality, robust, and correct code to develop new features
Ensure software addresses well-defined problems with performance, quality, and security considerations
Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate and improve the product

Professional software development experience using Go, Python, C, or C
Knowledge of Linux system-level fundamentals, for example, cgroups and namespaces
An undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen path
Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long

Compensation is based on geographical location, experience, and performance, with annual reviews and performance-driven bonuses or commissions
