A leadership role in devops and GitOps engineering, responsible for managing a high-performance team, driving agile practices, and ensuring the delivery of automated, cloud-native infrastructure services across distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a high-performance DevOps team in daily agile practices
Coordinate and drive internal projects related to infrastructure and operations
Mentor engineers to enhance their skills and team capabilities
Implement structured engineering and operations processes
Ensure team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
Represent the IS team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams
Manage service level agreements and deliver quality managed services globally
Requirements
Proven experience of software delivery using infrastructure as code
Proven experience managing devops teams for SaaS or similar offerings
Understanding of testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems
Experience with cloud topologies and technologies
Ability to travel twice a year, for company events up to two weeks long
Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
Experience of being a Linux and operations expert
Ability to lead and manage a high-performance team
Experience organizing, coordinating, and driving internal projects
Ability to represent the IS team to stakeholders, customers, and internal teams
Experience implementing structured engineering and operations processes
Ability to ensure proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
Experience working across the full stack, from bare metal to Kubernetes, including cloud and virtualization
Experience working across the full range of infrastructure, from public cloud to private cloud and edge
Experience working in and managing distributed teams
An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
