Job Description
This role involves leading the development of a talent sourcing and headhunting function for senior leadership positions within a remote-first technology company, coaching executives on sourcing strategies, conducting behavioral interviews, and driving talent analytics to improve hiring outcomes globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop search strategies for senior leadership talent acquisition
- Coach senior leadership teams on sourcing and attracting top talent
- Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess candidates
- Build and maintain relationships with global stakeholders to meet hiring goals
- Analyze talent data and provide real-time insights to improve hiring processes
- Identify and approach senior leadership candidates using market mapping and headhunting techniques
- Promote diversity and inclusion by removing unconscious bias from hiring practices
- Continuously improve hiring processes and outcomes
Requirements
- Experience of identifying and approaching senior leadership talent from either a professional search firm or from an in-house search function, working within the Technology industry.
- Experience of training others on the art of headhunting.
- Excellent knowledge of tools used to identify future talent including market mapping.
- Ability to interview candidates using behavioural, competency based, interviewing techniques.
- An exceptional academic background including a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Psychology or people based subject, with a good level of Maths at High school.
- Professional experience of headhunting senior talent in the Tech industry, either from a reputable executive search firm or in-house.
- An informed opinion of search and approach strategies that deliver results.
- Experience of conducting and training on behavioural, competency based interviewing.
- Strong appreciation of the talent tooling marketplace, including knowledge of changing AI lead platforms.
- A high level of personal organisation to work remotely and be effective.
- Willingness to travel to company events 2-4 times a year, for up to two weeks each.
