This role involves leading a talent science team to develop data-driven hiring strategies, analyze recruitment data, and implement analytical tools to improve talent selection processes, all while coaching team members and collaborating with company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team to achieve strategic objectives related to product design and roadmap implementation.
Analyze hiring data to connect performance outcomes with selection methods and ensure the identification of top talent.
Design professional processes and frameworks to facilitate efficient delivery of talent science initiatives.
Coach and mentor team members to develop analytical skills and thought leadership, including creating training materials.
Represent the team and act as a trusted adviser in the absence of the Head of Talent Science.
Collaborate with company leaders to communicate and align on the vision for talent management.
Requirements
An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university, with an undergraduate degree in a people based subject.
At least 7 years of experience in a Talent function, with a deep appreciation of recruitment and selection and analytics that drive decision making.
Proven analytical ability to dissect and analyze data using SQL, or alternatively using Python, R, SPSS, or possess the ability to run lookups, indexing, matching formulae with an appetite to learn SQL.
Exposure to BI tools, specifically Superset as the platform.
Exceptional ability to lead and drive others to deliver, including exceptional project management and coaching skills to lead roadmap execution and delivery.
Exceptional written and spoken English with strong presentation skills suitable for a senior audience.
Sincere personal motivation aligned with the company's mission.
Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times a year for company events, with trips lasting up to two weeks.
Ability to deliver high-quality work that builds trust and confidence, demonstrating reliability.
Ability to collaborate effectively to build usable products and systems, demonstrating accessibility.
