Job Description
A financial professional responsible for supporting month-end reporting, statutory audits, and preparing the company for an IPO, with a focus on IFRS standards, within a globally distributed tech company specializing in open source software and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate financial information
- Manage a specific part of the ledger processes relevant to expertise
- Support the year-end audit process and statutory reporting
- Contribute to preparing the business for an IPO
- Improve the efficiency of financial processes and monitor compliance
- Share knowledge with team members to ensure coverage and collaboration
- Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Be a qualified accountant with certifications such as ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Have experience working at a large public accounting firm or in a public multinational corporate accounting department.
- Have IFRS experience and a passion for IFRS standards.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise-grade systems.
- Willingness to travel up to four times per year.
- Assist in the month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information.
- Have full responsibility for a part of the ledger processes relevant to your strengths.
- Assist with the year end audit process and statutory reporting.
- Support the finance team s wider plans to prepare for an IPO.
- Improve the efficiency of financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance.
- Share knowledge between team members to ensure cover is available when needed.
- Actively develop your own skills to ensure current knowledge of applicable standards and regulations.
- Establish strong relationships with key colleagues outside the wider finance team.
