Job Description

This role involves providing senior client leadership, building strategic relationships, and driving business development within the Health Market for CannonDesign, while leading project teams and promoting Living-Centered Design to deliver innovative, high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client relationships within the Health Market, ensuring successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop new business opportunities by pursuing target clients and expanding services with existing clients.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive environments.
  • Strategically plan and understand client needs to assemble expert teams for innovative design solutions.
  • Drive financial performance by managing processes, budgets, and ensuring project and firm profitability.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 15 years of experience in the Health market with a proven track record of client and team leadership, and business development success.
  • Must have previous experience in client leadership roles that have been connected to an office, market, or region with multiple successful client relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills.
  • Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Some travel required.
