Job Description
This internship involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing end-user requests, and assisting with hardware and software upgrades under the guidance of the IT team in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Helpdesk tickets, escalate issues, work with clients, and close tickets
- Provide end user support, troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft Office issues
- Prepare, set up, and coordinate employee equipment
- Identify hardware and software upgrade needs and coordinate with System Administrators for implementation
- Participate in testing and evaluating hardware and software
- Modify existing hardware and software to meet specific needs
- Maintain peripherals such as printers
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Information Technology or related field.
- Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong communication skills and innovative thinking are essential.
- Ability to work with the IT team to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolutions in a user-friendly professional manner.
