This role involves leading a market within CannonDesign by driving business development, client engagement, team leadership, and strategic growth initiatives, with a focus on delivering innovative design solutions and fostering a high-performance, inclusive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams focused on market growth and client engagement
Create and implement the Market Business Plan to drive strategic initiatives and market differentiation
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets
Lead client relationships at high levels, managing project-specific work and fostering long-term partnerships
Enhance the market's brand externally and internally through speaking engagements, writing, and promotional activities
Support practice advancement by mentoring team members, recruiting talent, and promoting a collaborative environment
Lead market initiatives to develop strategic pursuit strategies and market differentiation
Manage the overall top line results of the market, including achieving revenue and profitability goals
Assess market trends and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
Demonstrate leadership in client projects and serve as a subject matter expert
Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure successful implementation of business plan initiatives
Mentor, coach, and develop staff to build a high-performing, inclusive team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the S T Market.
Strong presentation skills are essential.
Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential.
Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
Some travel required.
