Job Description

This role involves leading a market within CannonDesign by driving business development, client engagement, team leadership, and strategic growth initiatives, with a focus on delivering innovative design solutions and fostering a high-performance, inclusive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams focused on market growth and client engagement
  • Create and implement the Market Business Plan to drive strategic initiatives and market differentiation
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets
  • Lead client relationships at high levels, managing project-specific work and fostering long-term partnerships
  • Enhance the market's brand externally and internally through speaking engagements, writing, and promotional activities
  • Support practice advancement by mentoring team members, recruiting talent, and promoting a collaborative environment
  • Lead market initiatives to develop strategic pursuit strategies and market differentiation
  • Manage the overall top line results of the market, including achieving revenue and profitability goals
  • Assess market trends and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Demonstrate leadership in client projects and serve as a subject matter expert
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure successful implementation of business plan initiatives
  • Mentor, coach, and develop staff to build a high-performing, inclusive team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
  • Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the S T Market.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
  • Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
  • Some travel required.

Salary range of $128,700 to $160,900 annually, with potential for discretionary bonuses
