Job Description
This position involves leading project management, team leadership, client relations, and design process oversight within an architecture or design firm, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative, and financially successful projects, particularly in health-related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships and communicate project issues clearly
- Lead project teams to achieve goals related to quality, budget, schedule, innovation, and profitability
- Manage project scope, work plans, budgets, and schedules, including design and documentation processes
- Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and proper documentation of key decisions
- Collaborate with team members, provide mentorship, and foster a positive team environment
- Implement quality assurance and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate workload and provide leadership to project team activities
- Participate in business development activities and client negotiations
- Ensure statutory requirements are met and manage contractual obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a relevant field is required.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
- Experience managing health projects is required.
- Current licensure or registration in the United States is preferred.
- LEED accreditation is preferred.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with and lead the project team and client is essential.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
