Job Description
This position involves leading project management efforts, client relations, team leadership, and ensuring quality and financial performance within design and construction projects, primarily in health-related facilities, while fostering collaboration and adhering to best practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities
- Lead project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals
- Oversee design and documentation processes during construction
- Develop and manage project work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and quality assurance/quality control standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Coordinate workload and provide leadership and mentorship to project team members
- Communicate project objectives and progress effectively to clients and team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a relevant field is required.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience is required.
- Experience managing health projects is required.
- Current licensure or registration in the United States is preferred.
- LEED accreditation is preferred.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with and lead the project team and client is essential.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
