Job Description

The Project Coordinator supports project implementation by managing schedules, preparing meeting materials, tracking progress, and maintaining client relationships within a healthcare consulting firm, ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, manage assignments, and update project timelines and dashboards
  • Prepare meeting materials, document notes, action items, and decisions from meetings
  • Support development of reports and provide logistics support for meetings and communication with team and clients
  • Complete project deliverables within scope and quality standards, and track project progress
  • Identify and escalate project risks and concerns to the Project Manager
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members, and seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent expertise and experience in the industry preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled at summarizing conversations and identifying key follow-ups.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in working effectively in teams with various disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both in oral and written form.
  • Ability to manage uncomfortable situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Comfortable sharing difficult messages, initiating conversations, and receptive to feedback.
  • Prioritizes job duties, assignments, and deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and works independently to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 90% of the workday.
  • Must be able to move around an office or job site.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Must be willing to work irregular hours on occasion per the requirements of the assigned projects.
