Job Description
The Project Coordinator supports project implementation by managing schedules, preparing meeting materials, tracking progress, and maintaining client relationships within a healthcare consulting firm, ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities, manage assignments, and update project timelines and dashboards
- Prepare meeting materials, document notes, action items, and decisions from meetings
- Support development of reports and provide logistics support for meetings and communication with team and clients
- Complete project deliverables within scope and quality standards, and track project progress
- Identify and escalate project risks and concerns to the Project Manager
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members, and seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent expertise and experience in the industry preferred.
- Two or more years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled at summarizing conversations and identifying key follow-ups.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in working effectively in teams with various disciplines and backgrounds.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
- Effective and professional communication skills, both in oral and written form.
- Ability to manage uncomfortable situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Comfortable sharing difficult messages, initiating conversations, and receptive to feedback.
- Prioritizes job duties, assignments, and deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.
- Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and works independently to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 90% of the workday.
- Must be able to move around an office or job site.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Must be willing to work irregular hours on occasion per the requirements of the assigned projects.
