The Project Architect will lead the development and coordination of architectural projects, overseeing design, technical quality, team leadership, client relations, and ensuring compliance with standards and codes to deliver integrated, sustainable, and high-quality architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of technical aspects and content of architectural projects
Coordinate work across disciplines to ensure integrated project deliverables
Verify project compliance through team collaboration
Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing within a multi-disciplinary team
Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants
Prepare design sketches for site plans
Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
Participate in business development activities
Perform field site observations and visits
Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Integrate sustainable and performance-based design strategies into projects
Implement project delivery methods and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
Supervise, train, and direct work of interns and junior staff
Monitor technical quality and enforce QA/QC standards
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
