Job Description
This senior leadership role involves developing and executing strategic plans to grow and enhance the Los Angeles office of CannonDesign, focusing on business development, client engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive design culture, and promoting the firm's Living-Centered Design ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive leadership team for the Los Angeles office.
- Create and execute a strategic business plan to support office growth, branding, and client engagement.
- Drive top line revenue growth through client development, strategic initiatives, and market differentiation.
- Identify, assess, and mentor client leaders to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
- Build and strengthen the office's leadership team and expand impact and growth potential.
- Champion the firm's Living-Centered Design ethos within the office culture, client interactions, and community engagement.
- Foster a design-focused culture emphasizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and innovation.
- Represent the office in firm-wide and external communications, promoting the office's brand and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years related experience with a proven track record of business development success and top line growth.
- Licensure is preferred.
- Additional certifications and/or training relevant to this role is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Business acumen and proven ability to execute strategy.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
- Some travel required.
