Job Description
This position involves leading and developing the firm-wide Mental Behavioral Health Market, focusing on strategic growth, client engagement, team leadership, and market positioning to drive revenue and promote Living-Centered Design principles within the design industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the firm-wide Mental Behavioral Health Market, including strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Develop and implement the Submarket Business Plan to drive market differentiation, client engagement, and brand recognition.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with target clients to achieve top-line growth and maintain client relationships.
- Lead high-level client engagement and project involvement to foster long-term relationships and innovative solutions.
- Represent the submarket externally and internally through speaking engagements, writing, and promotional activities.
- Develop and advance strategic initiatives and pursuit strategies to grow the submarket globally.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure successful implementation of business plan initiatives and profitability goals.
- Build and mentor a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive team, fostering leadership and professional development.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or engineering or a relevant field.
- Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Mental Behavioral Health Market within the Design Industry A E C, with a preference for 20 years of related experience.
- Proven track record of top line, strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Mental Behavioral Health Market within the Design Industry A E C.
- Strong presentation skills are essential.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
- Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
- Some travel required.
