The Medical Equipment Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and documentation of medical equipment for healthcare and science education projects, ensuring accurate placement, database management, and effective communication with project teams and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and develop medical equipment planning documents for healthcare projects
Participate in design team coordination and meetings, documenting minutes and distributing information
Review project drawings and floor plans to ensure accurate medical equipment placement
Populate and maintain the medical equipment database with detailed project information
Manage and update medical equipment lists, floor plans, and keynote schedules
Collaborate with BIM team to develop equipment placement drawings in Revit
Track and resolve issues related to medical equipment and escalate as necessary
Ensure planning activities align with user requests and leadership guidance
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Science, Environmental Design, or equivalent is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of CAD Revit is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
Working knowledge of Attania or comparable planning software system is preferred.
Must be comfortable with regular extensive travel for client work and internal meetings.
