Job Description
A Marketing and Communications Specialist responsible for developing proposal materials, managing brand marketing activities, creating marketing content, and supporting internal and external communications to enhance the firm's visibility and reputation in the architecture and design industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate proposal materials, including visual themes and strategic messaging
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop pursuit strategies and content
- Create and update marketing collateral such as resumes, presentations, and portfolio pages
- Lead local marketing activities including sponsorships, awards, events, and social media management
- Develop subject matter expertise across firm offerings and industry trends
- Maintain and update client and pursuit data in CRM systems like Salesforce and Deltek
- Streamline proposal creation processes and support internal reporting and analytics
- Build and maintain relationships with internal leadership and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in marketing or communications, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Experience working in a marketing or communications role for a professional services firm.
- Experience with international design firms is preferred.
- Related experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction industry is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Deltek CRM Vision, Salesforce, and Miro is a plus.
- Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about innovation.
- Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Solid skills in strategic thinking, writing, and design, with potential or interest to further develop in at least one of these areas.
