Job Description
This role involves proposal writing, marketing, and brand management for a professional services firm, requiring collaboration on pursuit strategies, development of marketing materials, and regional marketing activities, with a focus on architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate proposal materials throughout all stages of the process
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to develop pursuit strategies from client engagement to proposal and interview
- Create and update marketing materials such as resumes, portfolios, and presentations using brand standards
- Develop marketing collateral to support markets, offices, and services
- Conduct marketing research to inform market strategy and pursuit activities
- Lead local marketing activities including sponsorships, awards, events, and photography to enhance brand visibility
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the firm's portfolio, personnel, and offerings, and across markets and services
- Maintain and update client and pursuit information in Salesforce and proposal filing systems
- Review work for accuracy and quality, and provide peer review for marketing content
Requirements
- Candidates are required to submit 2-3 work samples demonstrating proficiency with Adobe InDesign and other layout software such as PowerPoint, and 1-2 writing samples (e.g., project descriptions, employee bios, proposal cover letters), with proprietary confidential information redacted, and samples where the candidate held the primary role in creation.
- Candidates must be able to present details on work samples during the interview stage.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in marketing or communications is required.
- Related experience working in a professional services firm is required.
- Related experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction industry is preferred.
- Must be proactive, self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about innovation.
- Strong time and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Solid skills in strategic thinking, writing, and design, with the potential and/or interest to further develop and excel in at least one of these areas.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Deltek CRM Vision, Salesforce, and Miro is a plus.
