Job Description
The Senior Program Manager for Smart Building Consulting leads enterprise-scale technology programs, advising clients on strategy, system integration, and organizational change to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and user experience in complex environments such as healthcare, science, and education facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide organizations through planning, design, and implementation of advanced building technologies.
- Own and deliver enterprise-scale smart building and digital infrastructure programs, including strategy, execution, and business outcomes.
- Advise clients on strategy, integration, and execution of smart building and digital infrastructure initiatives.
- Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on capital planning, digital investments, and enterprise technology direction.
- Define vision, outcomes, and measurable objectives for technology-enabled environments.
- Manage end-to-end program delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multi-system IT and building technology programs.
- Evaluate, recommend, and plan integration of enterprise IT and smart building systems for interoperability.
- Lead stakeholder workshops and decision forums to align on outcomes and data-driven solutions.
- Advise on vendor selection, contracting, and performance management for smart building systems.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and industry-specific standards.
- Build and lead high-performing project teams, providing mentorship and establishing delivery standards.
- Stay current with emerging smart building, IoT, and data integration technologies and develop long-term innovation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
- 10 years of experience in program management, technology consulting, or smart building systems integration.
- Proven experience advising healthcare, science technology, or complex institutional organizations on technology programs that improve operations, efficiency, and user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, cross-disciplinary technology programs in complex or regulated environments.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
- Strong consulting and advisory capabilities with executive presence.
- Deep knowledge of building systems integration, digital infrastructure, and enterprise technologies.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
- Expertise in project governance, vendor management, systems integration, and digital roadmap development.
