This position involves providing technical expertise and planning for health-related architectural projects, collaborating with project teams, developing design solutions, and translating concepts into construction documentation under the supervision of a Licensed Architect.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in programming and planning for health projects.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine planning concepts and solutions.
Communicate planning ideas to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
Assist in developing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree is required.
Minimum of 6 years of related experience, with at least 2 years of previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on health projects.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess working knowledge and experience in relevant skills, while still acquiring higher level knowledge.
Must be analytical and an independent thinker.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client are essential.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam is required.
