This position involves providing technical expertise and planning for health projects within an architectural firm, collaborating with teams to develop innovative, sustainable solutions, and translating concepts into project documentation under the supervision of a Licensed Architect.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in programming and planning for health projects.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine planning concepts and solutions.
Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams verbally, graphically, and in reports.
Assist in developing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Contribute to project scope, planning, and service development during contract processes.
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
Maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to other designers and project leaders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree is required.
Minimum of 6 years of related experience, with at least 2 years of previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on health projects.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess working knowledge and experience in relevant skills, while still acquiring higher level knowledge.
Must be analytical and an independent thinker.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam is required.
