Key Responsibilities
Conduct on-site facility assessments of electrical and low-voltage systems across various building types.
Evaluate the condition, remaining useful life, and remedial measures for electrical systems.
Identify and describe deficiencies in electrical and low-voltage systems with technical detail.
Provide recommendations for corrections and future project planning.
Interview building operations and maintenance staff to gather historical and operational information.
Prepare project progress documentation for review by the project manager.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience required.
Direct experience in conducting architectural facility condition assessments strongly preferred.
Experience assessing healthcare and educational institutions strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required, as well as a clear aptitude for tablet and mobile device usage.
Must be willing to travel up to 40% for out-of-town assignments.
Must be physically able to walk the stated areas each day, climb fixed and extension ladders, and walk on roof surfaces up to a 3 12 slope.
