Job Description
The Designer IB at CannonDesign's Yazdani Studio will support architectural design and documentation processes within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on project development from conceptual design through construction documentation, utilizing Revit and other design tools, under supervision of licensed architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team in the development, coordination, and detailing of architectural materials and systems.
- Build physical building models and produce architectural documentation under supervision.
- Create graphics and visual materials for client presentations.
- Assist in research initiatives related to architectural projects.
- Contribute to all phases of the project from conceptual design through construction documents.
- Review shop drawing submittals and respond to client questions with supervisory guidance.
- Use REVIT to produce plans, elevations, and sections under guidance.
- Coordinate project documents with other disciplines.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of related professional experience required.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Demonstrates independent judgment in handling responsibilities at this level.
