This position involves leading architectural design and technical development of projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and integrating sustainable strategies, while providing mentorship and contributing to business growth within a collaborative design firm.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects.
Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants.
Prepare design sketches of site plans.
Communicate project status, design intent, and construction updates to stakeholders.
Participate in business development activities and support marketing efforts.
Perform field site observations and walk-throughs.
Integrate sustainable and performance-based design strategies into projects.
Implement project delivery processes using established methods, standards, and tools.
Mentor and guide less experienced team members and interns.
Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC processes and statutory requirements.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
