The role involves leading architectural design and technical development of projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and contributing to business growth, with a focus on sustainable and performance-based design strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects
Coordinate engineering systems with engineers and consultants
Prepare design sketches of site plans
Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
Participate in business development activities
Perform field site observations and visits
Integrate sustainable and performance-based design strategies
Implement project delivery processes using established methods and standards
Mentor and guide junior team members and interns
Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC processes
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
