Job Description
A design-focused architectural role involving collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop, detail, and coordinate architectural projects using Revit and other design tools, under the supervision of a Licensed Architect. The position emphasizes technical design, project coordination, and contributing to various project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, select, coordinate, and detail architectural elements independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and manage REVIT models to produce plans, elevations, and sections
- Produce architectural details across all project phases with limited supervision
- Create preliminary site plan sketches for small to moderate-sized projects
- Coordinate project documents with other disciplines and engineers
- Assist in developing design and concept drawings
- Review shop drawing submittals under guidance
- Participate in field site inspections and project team meetings
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
- Minimum 4 years of related professional experience required.
- Council of Architecture - India certificate required.
- Must be able to participate in the development of projects' technical or design characteristics and content.
- Strong creative design portfolio is essential.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Ability to independently develop and manage the REVIT model to produce plans, elevations, and sections.
- Ability to produce REVIT section and plan details within all architectural phases with limited direction.
- Ability to prepare preliminary design sketches of small to moderate-sized site plans.
- Ability to communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
- Ability to assist in the development of design and concept drawings.
- Ability to assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers.
- Ability to review shop drawing submittals with some guidance from the Project Architect.
- Willingness to attend field site inspections, which may involve a physical walk-through of the site.
- Ability to attend and actively participate in project team meetings.
- Must be able to perform design, selection, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Must be able to prepare and contribute to design and presentation efforts utilizing Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and other programs as required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively within a team environment, including strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
