A Project Manager responsible for overseeing maintenance and reliability capital projects across various industries, managing all project phases from planning to closeout, leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring project scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute all aspects of maintenance and reliability capital projects from planning to closeout.
Lead and coordinate project planning, scheduling, design quality, and execution activities.
Direct and oversee project team members, including discipline engineers and other staff.
Coordinate technical communication across engineering disciplines, clients, contractors, vendors, and management.
Ensure projects adhere to scope and schedule requirements.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute project scope.
Lead proposal development and cost estimation efforts.
Serve as the client’s primary contact and manage project budgets and invoicing.
Mentor project and discipline engineers and team members.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (preferred)
10 years of engineering consulting experience supporting the oil gas, chemical, renewable energy power, and manufacturing industries
Management experience leading teams, possibly experience as a client manager
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects
Must meet all client-specific site requirements prior to deployment on any field assignment
Physical mobility on the ground and at heights
Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms or scaffolding using appropriate fall protection
Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat, rain, cold, and wind while wearing PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and steel-toed work boots
Ability to position oneself to work in confined spaces
Must adhere to a client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site
Must meet a client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site
