As Director, Bank Development, you will serve as a portfolio-level leader for complex, multi-year mitigation bank projects across your assigned territory. You will partner with sales teams and opportunity Project Managers to support technical proposals, assess project feasibility, and define budgets, schedules, staffing plans, resource needs, and key milestones. You will help PMs build strong project models and management plans, including work breakdown structures, communication plans, scope management plans, quality plans, risk management plans, procurement plans, reporting requirements, contracts, and sales assumptions.
In the course of the project lifecycle, you will meet regularly with PMs to review project status, manage critical issues, reinforce reporting expectations, and provide guidance on change control. You will coordinate closely with FP&A, General Managers, Client Solutions Managers, Operations Managers, PMs, and other support functions to keep projects moving and drive successful implementation. You will also help lead bank development strategy work, including market evaluation, opportunity conversion, bookings strategy, and project delivery optimization.
A significant part of your role will involve reviewing project financial performance, including budgets, percent complete, revenue, margin, cash, forecasts, and budget adjustments. You will evaluate projects through regulatory, technical, financial, and operational lenses to support sound go/no-go decisions. You will also introduce new practices, tools, training, and programs that strengthen PM capability, promote consistent project management discipline across the territory, and support PMs as a mentor, coach, and internal partner.
