Job Description

The Proposal Manager at Brightcore Energy leads the development of construction project proposals, coordinating cross-functional teams to produce compelling, compliant, and competitive responses to RFQs and RFPs, supporting the company's strategic goals and project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity identification through final submission
  • Review RFPs, RFQs, and bid documents to determine requirements, risks, and strategies
  • Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
  • Coordinate input from estimating, project management, engineering, safety, and leadership teams
  • Write, edit, and finalize proposal narratives, summaries, and technical sections
  • Ensure proposals are accurate, persuasive, compliant, and delivered on time
  • Maintain proposal content libraries and boilerplate materials
  • Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, reviews, and debriefs
  • Support interview and presentation preparation as needed
  • Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of proposal management experience, preferably in the construction or AEC industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction delivery methods such as Design-Build, CMAR, and Design-Bid-Build.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with InDesign is a plus.

Base salary range of $75,000-$95,000 annually, with potential for performance-based bonus
Work schedule of at least 40 hours per week, with overtime pay for non-exempt employees
