The Proposal Manager at Brightcore Energy leads the development of construction project proposals, coordinating cross-functional teams to produce compelling, compliant, and competitive responses to RFQs and RFPs, supporting the company's strategic goals and project success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity identification through final submission
Review RFPs, RFQs, and bid documents to determine requirements, risks, and strategies
Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices
Coordinate input from estimating, project management, engineering, safety, and leadership teams
Write, edit, and finalize proposal narratives, summaries, and technical sections
Ensure proposals are accurate, persuasive, compliant, and delivered on time
Maintain proposal content libraries and boilerplate materials
Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, reviews, and debriefs
Support interview and presentation preparation as needed
Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
At least 2 years of proposal management experience, preferably in the construction or AEC industry.
Strong understanding of construction delivery methods such as Design-Build, CMAR, and Design-Bid-Build.
Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with InDesign is a plus.

Base salary range of $75,000-$95,000 annually, with potential for performance-based bonus
