This position involves supporting geothermal drilling projects through equipment operation, site assessment, safety compliance, and logistical coordination, with opportunities for hands-on training and career growth in renewable energy and drilling technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment
Handle drill pipe, casing, and operate auxiliary equipment
Mix drilling mud and grout
Perform maintenance tasks and inventory stock intake
Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
Follow all safety and quality regulations
Assist in site assessment, equipment, and manpower planning
Organize and deliver site materials to ensure project completion on time and within budget
Document communication, data, and project-related information
Coordinate with teams to meet project milestones
Requirements
High School Diploma and/or GED or higher education.
Must have an active Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Clean Driving Record for at least five (5) years.
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
Ability to safely lift weights of 50 pounds overhead.
Must have an OSHA 30 SST card.
Flagger certification is strongly preferred.
Willingness to get your hands dirty and engage in constant physical labor.
Ability to haul, lift, move, load, and dig materials and equipment weighing 60-80 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors in all elements.
Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Willingness to perform physical labor and handle drilling-related tasks such as handling drill pipe and casing, mixing drilling mud and grout, assisting with loading and unloading equipment and materials, and performing maintenance tasks at specified intervals.
Ability to assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment, and operate auxiliary equipment between projects.
Ability to review site conditions, identify necessary equipment and manpower, and contribute to project viability and cost analysis.
Ability to document communication, data, information, and recommendations for review or future consideration.
Must be able to obtain coverage under the company automobile insurance policy (certain age restrictions and clean driving record apply).
Expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week, with an average of fifty (50) hours per week.
Travel required to various job sites across multiple states and locations as needed, with up to 90% travel across multiple states and occasional overnight stays, including approximately 10% over-the-road travel with lodging reimbursement.
Work site setting includes field and warehouse yard environments.
Pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen are required.
Compliance with a drug and alcohol-free workplace policy, including adherence to DOT regulations 49 CFR 40.25 and obtaining prior drug and alcohol testing records for safety-sensitive duties.
Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position and meet physical demands as described, including lifting, digging, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Base annual salary range of $90,000-$120,000
