Job Description
This position involves supporting geothermal project development through hands-on drilling operations, equipment handling, site assessment, and ensuring project safety, quality, and efficiency in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
- Operate auxiliary equipment between projects
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and materials
- Perform maintenance tasks on equipment
- Mix drilling mud and grout
- Handle drill pipe and casing
- Follow all safety and quality regulations
- Perform inventory stock intake
- Haul, lift, move, load, and dig materials and equipment
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Identify equipment and manpower needs for projects
- Prepare work orders and ensure accurate project documentation
- Provide recommendations on project feasibility
- Coordinate with teams to meet project milestones
Requirements
- Must have an active Class A - Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Clean Driving Record for at least five (5) years.
- Must have an OSHA 30 SST card and Flagger certification (strongly preferred).
- High School Diploma and/or GED or higher educational qualification.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Ability to safely lift weights of 50 pounds overhead.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all elements and perform physical labor, including hauling, lifting 60-80 lbs, moving, loading, and digging materials and equipment.
- Ability to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week to maintain full-time status, with an expectation of an average of fifty (50) hours per week.
- Travel required to different job sites within the Northeast, up to 95% of the time, with occasional East Coast job site travel.
- Pre-employment background check, including employment verification, criminal history check, and drug screen, in accordance with DOT regulations 49 CFR 40.25.
- Must be able to obtain coverage under the company automobile insurance policy.
- Ability to follow all safety and quality regulations and instructions.
- Ability to assist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment, loading and unloading of equipment and materials, and perform maintenance tasks at specified intervals.
- Ability to handle drill pipe and casing, mix drilling mud and grout, and operate auxiliary equipment between projects.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to get hands dirty and engage in constant physical labor.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Benefits & Perks
Base annual salary range of $90,000-$120,000
Work schedule of at least 40 hours per week, averaging 50 hours
Hybrid work environment allowing remote work up to 2 days per week
