Job Description
A Delivery Driver responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials, operating non-CDL dump trucks, and providing excellent customer service in a busy landscape supply environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials
- Operate non-CDL dump trucks such as Ford F550 and F650 in compliance with regulations
- Navigate difficult areas using good peripheral vision and depth perception
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Meet and exceed customer expectations with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain trustworthiness, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Take initiative and problem-solve in a busy landscape supply environment
Requirements
- Candidate must be knowledgeable of and compliant with all relevant State of California Regulations, federal regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Candidate must be skilled in safely operating dump trucks non CDL sizes, for example Ford F550 and or Ford F650.
- Position requires good peripheral vision and depth perception while navigating difficult areas.
- Driver must have excellent communication skills while interacting with customers.
- Candidate needs to meet and exceed customer expectations and act in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers.
- Candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidate must take initiative, problem solve, and be a team player in a busy Landscape Supply Yard.
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license appropriate for operating non CDL dump trucks.
- Candidate must be able to perform safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of landscape materials.
