Job Description
The role involves leading a technical support team responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues in Aurora's autonomous vehicle fleet, ensuring operational efficiency and vehicle reliability in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software support technicians.
- Oversee daily troubleshooting operations, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of fleet issues and escalations.
- Develop and implement support process and workflow improvements in collaboration with operations, product, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical support for vehicles encountering software or hardware issues.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on complex software and hardware escalations.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience working with Linux in an administrative or troubleshooting capacity.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of software support technicians.
- Strong technical knowledge of issue tracking systems.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to handle complex issue escalations.
- Experience working with various complex hardware and software systems including lidar, radar, cameras, and computers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across different teams, offices, and time zones.
- This is an onsite position working Monday through Friday.

Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year
