Job Description
The Data Analyst at Aurora will analyze large datasets related to autonomous vehicle performance, develop reports and dashboards for executive and external stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and improve the Aurora Driver technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present executive-level reports and dashboards with actionable insights.
- Manage external-facing data reports for customers, partners, and regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate data insights visually to effectively convey analysis, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement metrics and dashboards for performance measurement and improvement.
- Translate data findings into business recommendations and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams on data analytics projects.
- Ensure adoption of best practices in data analysis and suggest improvements.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar technical role.
- Proven experience taking Data Analytics projects end-to-end, from synthesizing business needs to building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency with relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, etc., and knowledge of Data Engineering best practices.
- Intermediate knowledge of data analytics infrastructure, including experience with data transformation tools like DBT and various visualization frameworks tools.
- Competency in Python, demonstrated by the ability to write readable, maintainable, and easily interpretable code.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a highly cross-functional, fast-moving, and high-stakes environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate and cascade executive input into actionable, data-driven technical analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
