Job Description
The Staff Training Delivery Manager at Aurora is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of operational training programs to ensure the workforce is prepared for commercial deployment, supporting safety, efficiency, and scalability across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and continuously improve operational training programs.
- Lead the execution of training from onboarding to advanced skill development.
- Provide strategic direction and coaching to training instructors to ensure quality and consistency.
- Oversee scheduling, facilitation, logistics, and resource planning for multi-site training sessions.
- Tailor training schedules and delivery to meet operational, customer, and third-party workforce needs.
- Establish and maintain standardized processes for scalable training delivery.
- Monitor training performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights for improvement.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in program management or training management capacity.
- Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
- Track record of multi-functional leadership and excellent stakeholder management to drive rapid, effective execution across the organization.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex trade-offs and drive consensus on strategic decisions.
- Advanced analytical skills and business acumen, using data to inform action.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for modeling and performance tracking.
- High ownership mindset with a bias for action in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%, with occasional nights or weekends flexibility to support infrequent operational needs.
