Job Description
The role involves leading and managing a team of systems engineers and administrators to develop and maintain a secure, integrated SaaS ecosystem, drive enterprise AI strategies, and automate workflows to enhance Aurora's engineering and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical leadership to the Applications Engineering team of systems engineers and system administrators.
- Architect and oversee a secure, scalable SaaS ecosystem including tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, and incident management platforms.
- Develop and execute strategies and roadmaps for enterprise applications supporting incident management, knowledge management, project management, analytics, and communication.
- Lead automation and integration workflows using APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms to eliminate manual work.
- Provide guidance on system architecture, review complex integration and automation projects, and serve as the primary technical expert.
- Partner with stakeholders across Security, IT, and Engineering to gather requirements and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Champion best practices for application governance, security, and data management.
- Lead the strategy and implementation of enterprise AI solutions and productivity tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT, software engineering, or systems engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience leading engineering teams in delivering complex, large-scale enterprise applications or platform services.
- Deep, hands-on experience administering and integrating a suite of modern SaaS applications such as Atlassian suite, Google Workspace, Slack, and incident management platforms.
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.
- Experience in implementing and leveraging AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

Base salary range: 154,000 - 223,000 USD
