Job Description
The Staff Software Engineer will develop and optimize the core Autonomy Framework for Aurora's self-driving vehicles, focusing on performance, safety, and reliability of autonomous driving systems through collaboration across teams and solving complex real-time software challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate Aurora's Core Autonomy Framework for vehicle and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform efficiency, robustness, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed safety-critical real-time systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent C or C++ programming skills in a UNIX POSIX environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing performance-critical applications.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development.
