Job Description
The role involves leading strategic HR initiatives, partnering with senior leadership, and designing scalable organizational systems to support Aurora's fast-growing, innovative environment focused on self-driving technology and mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of major HR projects such as organizational redesigns and talent programs.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to functional leaders, providing HR expertise to inform decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder communication to ensure alignment and integration of executive input.
- Diagnose organizational system bottlenecks and implement scalable models to improve cross-functional collaboration.
- Use data-driven insights to identify talent gaps and lead workforce planning efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute HR solutions that support business goals.
- Establish and build HR systems and frameworks to support rapid organizational scaling.
- Navigate and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, making informed decisions.
Requirements
- Recognized authority in HR business partnering with a track record of leading high-stakes initiatives in a fast-paced or tech-heavy environment.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership at the Director or Senior Director level to achieve alignment on key programs.
- Proven track record of project ownership, specifically designing and executing features or systems used by multiple teams.
- 8-10 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, with a focus on leading major projects or functional areas within a scaling organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; an advanced degree or HR certification is preferred.
- Technology industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and manage executive-level input effectively.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. approximately 10% of the time.
- Ability to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
