Job Description
The Software Engineer I on the Visualization Team will develop and enhance high-performance 3D web visualization platforms for self-driving vehicle data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve understanding of vehicle perception and behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and ship major features for Aurora's web applications for visualizing and labeling self-driving vehicle data
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to develop visualization tools
- Write high-quality code using Typescript and React in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to Aurora's mission by developing software related to self-driving technology
Requirements
- Design and ship major features to Aurora s web applications for visualizing and labelling self-driving vehicle data and analyzing model behavior.
- Collaborate cross functionally with product managers, designers, and Aurora s autonomy engineering teams.
- Write high-quality code in a fast-paced environment using Typescript and React.
- Demonstrated understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience working with Javascript or TypeScript to build web applications.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or demonstrated software engineering expertise.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range: $116,000 - $159,500 per year

Hybrid work environment with at least 3 days in the office per week
