Job Description

The Senior TLM, Test Triage Analysis role involves managing and mentoring a team of analysts to perform root cause analysis, develop automated triage processes, and collaborate across teams to improve system performance and scalability in autonomous vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and scale a team of triage analysts focused on root cause analysis.
  • Define and drive critical team processes through cross-functional initiatives and best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and refine internal processes, incident response playbooks, and workflow improvements.
  • Lead strategy for AI-augmented triage, including automation of root cause synthesis and anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to align efforts with company objectives.
  • Conduct training to enhance team system knowledge, automation skills, and cross-functional relationships.
  • Monitor systems for trends, regressions, and progressions, and escalate findings appropriately.
  • Partner with Data Analytics to track and improve key performance indicators and system performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Management and Leadership: At least 2 years of management experience with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and empower a team of technical analysts or similar roles, demonstrating a commitment to learning and investing in the growth of others.
  • Technical Depth and Problem Solving: Superb analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deeply understand and analyze system-level failures in complex autonomous or robotics systems, including differentiating sub-system level failures, performing root cause analysis, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Data Acumen and Metrics Management: Demonstrated ability to drive data-driven decisions, with proficiency in utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools and dashboards as a business user to interpret trends and extract actionable insights, and sensitivity to tracking and improving team metrics such as OKRs and SLAs.
  • Process and Program Ownership: Experience designing, executing, and optimizing major programs or features across a team or function, with the ability to proactively identify systemic problems, define new processes, and drive projects to address them, focusing on scaling operations through tooling, automation, and workflow improvements.
  • Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to act as a team representative in cross-functional capability, module, and product meetings, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical, operations, and product groups, providing clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Drive: Ability to navigate a fast-paced, fluid working environment with significant initiative to resolve complex assignments and drive performance improvement.
  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM-related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Operations Research.
  • Data Proficiency: Strong knowledge and experience using relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL) and common data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) to track throughput and quality metrics, and inform program performance, including experience with AI agents, co-pilots, and coding development assistants, with a passion for building dashboards, tooling, and automation.

Base salary range: $115,000 - $167,000 per year
