Job Description
The role involves managing the development and integration of self-driving technology into a trucking fleet, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design software solutions, and coordinating with hardware and service partners to ensure vehicle maintenance and support at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hardware, software, and strategy teams to troubleshoot and maintain Aurora's vehicles at scale.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners, OEMs, and servicing partners to understand requirements and deliver support for vehicle maintenance.
- Develop a deep understanding of integrating self-driving technology into trucking fleet operations.
- Define product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features that maximize value and align with business goals.
- Translate product usage data and user feedback into actionable requirements for iterative improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly software solutions for fleet management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritize tasks considering timelines and tradeoffs.
- Stay informed on trends in self-driving technology, fleet management, and logistics industry advancements.
Requirements
- 7 years in software product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing commercially successful software products
- Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and risks
- High level of comfort working in ambiguity, with the ability to define the unknown, create structure, and manage change
- Solid leadership experience with cross-functional teams in service of a large workstream
- Experience collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Data teams to bring product requirements and user experiences to life, while maximizing ROI
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal communication
- Passion for self-driving technology and its potential to revolutionize the transportation industry

Base salary range of $197,000 to $285,000 per year
