Job Description
The role involves managing the development and integration of self-driving technology into trucking operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design software solutions, and coordinating with hardware and service partners to ensure vehicle maintenance and support at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hardware, software, and strategy teams to troubleshoot and maintain autonomous vehicles at scale
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners, OEMs, and service providers to understand requirements and support maintenance activities
- Develop and define product vision and roadmap for integrating self-driving technology into trucking operations
- Translate user feedback and usage data into actionable requirements for software improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-friendly software solutions that meet product requirements
- Manage stakeholder priorities and timelines while balancing tradeoffs
- Stay informed on trends in self-driving, fleet management, and logistics industries
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in software product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing commercially successful software products.
- Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks.
- High level of comfort working in ambiguity, with the ability to define the unknown, create structure, and manage change.
- Solid leadership experience with cross-functional teams in service of a large workstream.
- Experience collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Data teams to bring product requirements and user experiences to life while maximizing ROI.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal communication.
- Passion for self-driving technology and its potential to revolutionize the transportation industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical education or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing software used to manage vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Three (3) years of experience in the logistics and/or supply chain industries.
- Experience shipping products to enterprise-sized customers.
- Experience with self-driving technology or other AI-based applications.
