Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer - Camera Systems will develop and integrate software for sensor calibration, testing, and data collection in self-driving vehicle systems, collaborating closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure reliable and flexible deployment of autonomous driving technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software for hardware calibration, benchtop testing, and sensor data collection tools
- Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Software engineering teams to ensure successful software application delivery
- Simplify release management, bootstrapping, and deployment of applications
- Enhance software flexibility and testability to facilitate updates and customer-requested changes
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics or related field
- At least 5 years of cumulative experience in software development
- Ability to read and develop production quality software in C and Python
- Experience developing end-to-end solutions involving hardware, software, and integration
- Experience with fault-tolerant software system design and automation
- Knowledge of sensor fusion concepts including camera, lidar, IMU, etc., and experience with their data and calibration
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills

Base salary range of $162,000 - $260,000 per year
