Job Description
The role involves leading the design and development of vehicle diagnostics software for autonomous vehicles, including backend services, data pipelines, and web applications, to ensure fleet health, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of major features for the vehicle diagnostics platform.
- Develop scalable, low-latency backend services and data pipelines for real-time vehicle diagnostic data processing.
- Build responsive web applications to visualize complex diagnostic datasets for technical teams.
- Design and implement systems to ingest, process, and enrich raw diagnostic data for troubleshooting.
- Influence the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and improve system architecture and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and operations teams to deliver impactful software solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in software development, with a proven track record of owning complex software features from design to deployment.
- Deep expertise across the software stack, including architecting and implementing scalable backend services, and building and deploying complex, modern web applications using frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Elasticache, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring alerting systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of product ownership and the ability to translate user needs into well-defined technical solutions.
- Ability to influence the team’s technical roadmap, mentor other engineers through design reviews and collaboration, and continuously improve system architecture and reliability.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Operations stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver impactful software solutions.
