Job Description
The Data Analyst will develop and automate data tools and insights to monitor and improve the on-road performance and operational efficiency of Aurora's self-driving technology, collaborating cross-functionally to support product development and commercialization goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop data tools and insights to support the development and operation of Aurora's autonomous vehicle products, focusing on on-road performance and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement metrics and dashboards to measure, understand, and improve decision-making, performance, and efficiency for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ensure best practices and continuous improvement in data analysis and infrastructure.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to synthesize business needs into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar technical role.
- Proven experience taking Data Analytics projects end-to-end, from synthesizing business needs to building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Advanced proficiency with relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL, and knowledge of Data Engineering best practices.
- Intermediate knowledge of data analytics infrastructure, including experience with data transformation tools like DBT and various visualization frameworks tools.
- Competency in Python, demonstrated by the ability to write readable, maintainable, and easily interpretable code.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a highly cross-functional, fast-moving, and high-stakes environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate and cascade executive input into actionable, data-driven technical analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
